No. Prepaid subscriptions expire automatically after the final shipment. There's no auto-renewal and no ongoing commitment - for you or the recipient.

This is an excellent question, and an important one! Roasting coffee is a highly-skilled business. With great coffees, a talented roaster will highlight the intrinsic character of the coffee beans, and not seek to override the coffee with over-roasting dimensions like smokiness. Over-roasting is often done to hide poor coffee.
Exceptional coffees, like those from Podium Coffee Club, are usually light or light-to-medium roasted (because they have more to offer and less to hide!). Flavor complexity, sweetness, acidity, and body are all balanced to create coffees that surpass mainstream offerings.
