I absolutely love walking down to my mailbox and pulling out a bag of beans from somewhere new. I've been doing this for a few months now, and the first bag was smooth, a bit tart, and easily one of my top 10 cups of espresso I've made at home. My wife even noticed when I handed her a cup. Second bag was sweet with a gummy bear finish. Different but also delish from the first bean to the last drop. I'm sold on getting award-winning coffee from places I haven't adventured to yet, but now want to visit. These guys know their coffee and it shows. Just as importantly, I get to try a variety of consistently solid flavors of the good stuff. I'm looking forward to the next bag . . . that should be delivered tomorrow. I'm only on the third shipment of Podium's "Platinum" roasts, and it's been a fantastically fun journey. My first coffee was a banana co-fermented coffee from Theory that honestly completely surprised me, and colleagues found me smelling and swirling as I would with a fine wine. These are not the typical roasts I find in coffee shops — even for really high quality local roasters. If you're adventurous and want something different, if you want to use your daily coffee as an opportunity to expand your palette, go with the Platinum. 10/10. No notes.

It may seem expensive but when you put all the expert knowledge of the makers, the judges who give out the awards and then the guys at Podium who track the winners down and send it monthly, plus the time it saves me trying to find these myself, its an absolute deal.
Would I recommend giving it a try? 100% for the cost of three coffees at a shop it will change your mornings!

What a great concept! I’ve been stuck drinking crappy k-cup coffee every morning until now. Having a variety of new coffees each month, without me having to think about it has worked magic for keeping my morning routine fresh.
Very positive experience. Paid less than we were paying for coffee at the supermarket. Beans arrived promptly in good shape and (most importantly) the coffee was delicious. Count me a fan.
I know (or at least they tell me) that this is a new business, but the coffee quality is outstanding. I can see who the next monthly roaster partners are due to be and am looking forward to them arriving! I'd love flash sales of other coffees, or the ability customize my subscription a little but if I'm getting great coffee every month then I'm very happy :-)
