It's fair to say Podium introduced me to high quality specialty coffee and I'm never drinking anything else from this point. All the Podium Gold selections have been superb.
I love Podium because it's not a vague "editors' pick", but real competition wins that determine the roasters. That gave me confidence from day one, and the coffee has been amazing since.
At this price point there is not enough transparency regarding the monthly selection process. I was expecting to be provided some details regarding the particular roaster and roast selections to justify the price premium.

The coffee beans are fresh and you definitely get a variety. Shipping is on-time as well. I bought a 12-month subscription for my husband who loves coffee, and we are about 6 coffees in. The coffees weren’t quite what we were expecting and Podium gave us the option of moving from Platinum to Gold which we took them up on and we like the flavor much better. They even refunded us the difference sine I had pre- paid for a 1 year subscription. Five stars for customer service! You certainly don’t find that very often these days!

I'm a coffee-obsessive (light-roast pour-over, black) and a coffee club skeptic. But I was persuaded to try Podium by a recent Bon Appetit rave. From the moment the beans arrived in the mail, I knew I was in for something special. Granted this is only the first shipment, but if these 300g of silky, floral, vivid pleasure are any indication of what is in store, I'm a forever customer.
Honestly just happy I don't have to think about buying good coffee anymore.
Very nicely roasted! I can smell the papaya, fruit punch, & key lime notes on the beans! It tastes even better when prepared as pour over coffee.
First: the coffee is sensational. I did the Platinum club and my first month was an exciting natural process single origin. There was a minor hiccup with my payment and one of the owners reached out personally to help me, going above and beyond what I would have expected. Highly recommend if you're a coffee nerd looking for a curated caffeine ride every month that makes you feel like a VIP. Can't wait to see what comes next.

Being able to try top tier coffees from award winning roasters around the country is a previously unattainable rare treat. The curated selections I have received have all been sublime and off the beaten path. I love discovering new roasters that I never would have discovered and adding them to my list of regular shopping spots! The Podium logistics and service have also been top notch - shipments arrive quickly and well-packed, and my emails to service have always been answered within a day. The platinum subscription has brought some of the very best coffee that I have ever had. I love the variety each month; new flavors, processes, roasters that I would never have found on my own. I'm finding myself loving coffee all over again with each new bag.
Podium Coffee Club is hands down the best subscription I have. Zero hesitation in this. As someone who likes coffee but doesn't have many great local options, PCC is my source for new beans and amazing new flavors! Last month, I was introduced to my FAVORITE coffee of all time (Jairo Arcila Finca Santa Monica from Bonlife Coffee!!!) and it's pretty much ruined me for many other coffees out there. It's hard to spend the $$$ when I'm in public because the coffees I'm getting at PCC put them to shame. I'm not being dramatic when I say PCC has been a godsend.

Podium Coffee Club is legit! I love trying new coffee and experiencing all the nuanced flavors. Podium Coffee Club takes out all the research and guess work. I have not been disappointed with anything that I have received so far. I am fully confident that every bag is going to be a unique and enjoyable experience. Just the way drinking coffee should be.
I absolutely love walking down to my mailbox and pulling out a bag of beans from somewhere new. I've been doing this for a few months now, and the first bag was smooth, a bit tart, and easily one of my top 10 cups of espresso I've made at home. My wife even noticed when I handed her a cup. Second bag was sweet with a gummy bear finish. Different but also delish from the first bean to the last drop. I'm sold on getting award-winning coffee from places I haven't adventured to yet, but now want to visit. These guys know their coffee and it shows. Just as importantly, I get to try a variety of consistently solid flavors of the good stuff. I'm looking forward to the next bag . . . that should be delivered tomorrow.
